Fallbrook youth rugby takes a bite out of Sharks, play again Saturday

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook U8, U10, and U12 Braves Rugby teams kicked off their 2014 season in Costa Mesa against the Back Bay Sharks, with extra matches played against the Fullerton Lions and Santa Clarita Tigers.

The U8 and U10 teams walked away with multiple victories while the U12 team fought hard against their opponents but was only able to put 5 points on the board.

The next matches are Saturday, Jan. 11 at Dusty Rhodes Park in San Diego where they play the Aztec Warriors. Saturday will also be the opening match of the season for the U14 team, also at Dusty Rhodes Park which is near Sea World.
