Family mementos found on highway

On Friday night, July 19, at approx. 9:30 p.m., I found a large plastic container of family photos (leather albums), mementos, books, and papers at the corner of Mission Road and Highway 76 that had evidently tumbled out of someone’s vehicle and scattered on the road.

I, along with some others, stopped and gathered all the items together. It is all in pretty good shape. Special note: there were some photos of a “Bears” football player #60 in it.

I turned the container into the Fallbrook Sheriff’s substation on Monday, July 22, so the rightful owner can collect it.
